In 2024, La Marzocco is proud to celebrate a decade of partnership with CafeSmart, as a supporter and sponsor. Heading into its 14th year, this coffee-led campaign unites roasters, cafes and coffee enthusiasts around the country to fight homelessness and support those at risk in their local area.

Running from Saturday August 10 – Friday August 16, 2024, CafeSmart will see participating cafes activate the campaign at their venues, encouraging their customers to donate the cost of a coffee via QR codes featured on posters and stickers. On Friday 16th August, cafes will donate $1 from every coffee sold. CafeSmart is inviting roasters to play a crucial role in the campaign, connecting your wholesale networks to the event and inspiring cafes to sign up as soon as possible. You can also go one step further, contributing to vital fundraising efforts by raising funds in your retail stores or online, through your bean sales.

What do you have to do? 
Just sign up online. CafeSmart will provide you with all the recruitment collateral you need to promote the event – such as digital and printed flyers, social tiles and suggested content.

Where does the money go?
This year, CafeSmart is focusing on supporting those who are sleeping rough, responding to the immediate needs of people and families who are experiencing homelessness. Donations will fund critical services and programs, helping to provide safe shelter, nutritious food, wellbeing support, and medical aid to those in need.
