Unveiling the ST. ALi × La Marzocco Officine Fratelli Bambi collaboration

Introducing the very first Office Fratelli Bambi bespoke machine to hit Australia’s shores.

In celebration of nearly 20 years of friendship, ST.ALi and La Marzocco have come together to build a one of a kind coffee machine, showcasing a shared love for design, innovation and friendship.

Designed by Officine Fratelli Bambi (La Marzocco’s original workshop dedicated to bespoke artistry and handmade craftsmanship) and La Marzocco Australia in collaboration with ST.UDIO ALi, the one of a kind centrepiece is now pouring world-class coffee at ST.ALI’s flagship South Melbourne site.

About the ST. ALi × Officine Fratelli Bambi machine

Inspired by traditional automotive designs, the team at ST.ALi and Officine Fratelli Bambi used this as a launchpad to inspire the design of their bespoke bar machine.

Hammering sheets of handpolished aluminium to create “su bumper” atop of the machine, the machine’s cup rails are also adorned with archival one-of-a-kind machine badges, referencing La Marzocco’s 97-year legacy and heritage.

Inspired by the materials used within ST.ALi’s Probat roaster, the team at Officine Fratelli Bambi handset sheets of metal, highlighting the machine’s imperfections, whilst also creating an exterior that showcases straight lines, traditionally used in espresso machine design.

A symbol of legacy, history and innovation, the bespoke machine is now proudly showcased at ST.ALi’s South Melbourne Flagship.
